The September 2012 intake has started their specializations, dividing up with old friends and new in International Business, Sales and Marketing, Digital Business and Financial Management and Control. Several students took advantage of the bilingual option and switched over to the Spanish or English sections for their final period, ensuring even more networking apart from a unique experience. Finally, we welcomed five exchange students from the US, Canada, France and Finland, as well as eleven students taking part in the dual specialization option of the BBE program.

Twenty students from September are taking part in the Short Exchange program with London Business School, and have already completely the first half of the Exchange in London, where they networked with 20 students from LBS and 20 students from the Stockholm School of Economics. Students attended lectures and company visits and had the chance to mix and mingle during a fantastic happy hour event on the London Eye. We are looking forward to hosting the 20 LBS students here in Madrid in May.

Students from the February 2013 intake took a break from classes to take part in the i2i Consulting Lab. They took a break from regular classes to form new workgroups for the week and work on a consulting project for Aena Aeropuertos, the company responsible for the management of Barajas Airport. Using Design Thinking Methodology, students tackled different user experience challenges faced by Aena. Students took part in a kick-off lecture at Barajas, facilitator-led workshops and extensive fieldwork in different parts of the T4 Terminal.

We were lucky enough to host Executive Insight Series presentations by Miguel Luengo, Director at Japan Tobacco International; Christoph Steck, Chief Regulatory Officer at Telefonica and Cees van Riel, Professor of Corporate Communication at Rotterdam School of Management.

We celebrated the end of both the i2i Consulting Lab and the month with a networking event for both sections at nearby El Callejón de Serrano, allowing both sections to get to know each other better!

  2. Hi! I know this is kinda off topic nevertheless I’d figured I’d ask.
Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe
guest authoring a blog article or vice-versa?
My blog goes over a lot of the same topics as yours and I think we could greatly benefit from each other.

If you’re interested feel free to shoot me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Superb blog by the way!

  3. Highly descriptive post, I enjoyed that bit. Will there be a part 2?

  4. Link exchange is nothing else but it is simply placing
the other person’s webpage link on your page at appropriate place and other person will also do same for you.
